Today is a sad day for the Quiver since a few hours ago Dwayne McDuffie, comic writer, animation producer and respected industry veteran, creator of Milestone, Static Shock and one of the most important person behind the success of JLU just passed away a few hours ago. Farewell Dwayne, thanks for all your awesome work, we will miss you.

A tragic event such as this not only reminds you of your own impending mortality, but puts in proper perspective a man's deeds. Looking back at Dwayne McDuffie's career there are great triumphs and yet so much unrealized potential.
